Scott Kaplan
In 1996, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Hofstra University with a BA in Psychology. I then studied to become a Certified Fitness Trainer (CFT). I parlayed this degree into opening “Maximum Fitness,” a personal training fitness studio. I was the President from October 1999 until November 2023. That’s when I closed that location in order to open my current location.
Fitness is my greatest passion. My 30 years of experience enables me to train various demographics (clients range in age from 12-83). Each client’s workout is custom-tailored to suit his/her goals.
My hobbies include taking care of my tropical fish and writing. I have written three screenplays, but also enjoy the short story format. Two of my stories have been published.
My personal fitness routine encompasses weight training 3x/week. I utilize free weights, resistance bands and medicine balls. For cardio, I cross train with different types of exercise. I train everyday, as I feel movement is the key to staying fit for life. Balance and stability are essential to one’s health.
